The Chile miners, safe and sound,
Pulled forth from the bowels of hell,
Of sixty eight days underground.
Oh that is such good news to tell.
And all the media worldwide
Give this story priority,
Portraying the positive side
Of what the world does hear and see.
But it will all be sweet and short,
'Cause negatives get the most sales.
Successful sellers seek to court
Audiences with bloody tales.

Rarely good news does take the lead,
But skeptics predict soon 'twill bleed.
