Sense Sonnet - Chiller
Sunami
I hear reports of an earthquake
In the ocean west of L.A..
It is the morning at dawn's break,
Millions waking to start the day.
The electricity goes out.
I live on the 40th floor.
Elevators are down no doubt.
Sounds of warning sirens do roar.
From my window, I stare out west
Across the waters looking still.
Far off a massive form progressed.
All of the horizen does fill.
I just stand and watch helplessly.
A wall of water sweeps toward me.
