Big Deal

Since I started playing baseball,
I guess I've been puttin on weight.
But I don't think I should get all
The grief I get for what I ate.
I'm a growing kid, and I need
The stuff that's in the food I eat.
I got a lot of youth to feed.
Only the weirdos are petite.
I get plenty of exercise,
Playing sports and running around.
A few snacks like burgers and fries
Just sneak up on me pound by pound.

The coach told me I could not bat,
All because I was just too fat.
