Infant Mortality

My baby had been doing fine.
But then his breathing seemed not right.
Then a fever was the next sign.
The suddeness caused me some fright.
So I took him to the E.R.
Before they could examine him,
He died. It was just so bizarre.
The cause showed in the post mortem.
A rabies virus was the source.
Once symptoms showed, it was too late.
The infection would take its course.
Death would be the ultimate fate.

How or where did it happen at -
Being bit by a rabid bat?
