Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Be Headed Haughtily

Her name was Marie Antoinette.
She was at one time Queen of France,
And represented that mind-set
Of self indulging circumstance.
Too often those who have so much
Have no desire to freely share;
But choose to scorn the common touch,
And make the "me" the only care.
The people hungered in the land,
While Queen Marie and friends dined well.
"Bother me not," was her command,
As the French nation did rebel.

"Let them eat cake, if there's no bread -"
"'Cause it's no heavy on my head."
