Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Lasting Impression

I'd gone for a job interview.
They'd invited me out to lunch.
Things went well; we were almost through.
This was a test, I had a hunch.
In my lap something caught my sight,
As I set down my coffee cup.
In horror, I saw boxer white.
I quickly zipped my pants back up.
We were leaving; I felt carefree.
I got up and turned from my chair.
The awful sounds came suddenly,
Of crashed dishes and silverware.

I saw the problem at a glance -
The tablecloth zipped in my pants.
