 The Wife of Me

The wife, I married not by choice,

But by her daddy's clear intent,

With his shotgun and his firm voice,

The message to me clearly sent.

The wife desires I believe that

I won't regret this choice as made,

Me with her in our habitat,

Her daddy's wish won't be betrayed.

The wife reminds me constantly,

That for me to think otherwise,

Is surely no thought that should be,

Becuz her daddy's wrath would rise.

The wife does truly get upset

When told our marriage, I regret.
