She and he, quite happily wed

For many years, with sharing of

Raising the kids and nights in bed,

A couple very much in love.

Family given lots of care,

Both he and she have goals the same.

The ups and downs of life they share,

A happy home, their common aim.

Both have careers which they pursue,

And often in same time and place,

Adversarial be the two,

On opposite sides of a case.

Prosecuting attorney, she,

And a defense attorney, he.
