Sense Sonnet - Pumper
My Heroine
I had taken an awful fall,
After having a fainting spell.
I could not get back up at all,
And was not feeling very well.
Then suddenly out of nowhere
She came toward me, all dressed in white,
And seemed to sense my deep despair,
Came to my aid to my delight.
"I shall not live in vain," she said,
As so gently she picked up me.
Her sweet smile took away my dread,
As safe again back home I be.
Emily Dickinson's the best
Says this robin, back in my nest.
