 No Tie, No Entry

At a nightclub the bouncer said

No entry for me with no tie.

The bouncer looked tough, so instead

I went back to my car to try

To see if I had left one there.

Looked all over my car but no

Tie was to be found anywhere.

Nightclub entry now a test, so

Wrapped jumper cables 'round my neck,

Went back to the bouncer to see

If this stunt would work, what the heck!

The bouncer scowled, then said to me,

"Go in, you're sort of complying."

"But just don't you start anything."
