 "Good Morning"

Most often it is morning when

After a sleep I come awake.

And often it is just me then,

And so the first greeting I make

Is to myself in gratitude

That another day I do live

With hopes and dreams to be pursued.

So to me "Good Morning" I give.

Alone now, but others I'll meet

As I go through my early day,

And with gratitude I will greet

To all, "Good Morning" I will say.

When first awake and alone, I'll

Say my "Good Morning" with a smile.
