 If I Were the Devil

If I were the devil I would

Be very pleased with all I've done,

To have evil win over good,

Countless battles that I have won.

Of course I know that I don't be

The devil but I do know that

A lot of bad does come from me.

Oft in my head the devil's at

Work moving me more toward the goal,

Convincing me the human mind,

The devil's wired to sell the soul,

Will happen to all humankind.

If I were the devil then I

Would seal the deal before each die.
