 Foundation From Christ

When I was born I began to

Build upon the foundation that

Jesus Christ has laid for me true

As guide for loving habitat.

My Savior seeks to save me by

Teaching me to follow His call,

To live my life until I die

On His foundation that won't fall.

The life I build I live within

A structure made on good and right,

And God forgives me all my sin.

In world of darkness I'm shown light.

I do thank Jesus Christ each day

For helping me to live God's way.
