I finally took up the task

To paint a self portrait of me.

What took so long myself I ask?

I really don't know truthfully.

I do know that my eyes are not

As insightful as they once were.

Images are blurry a lot.

Too vain to wear glasses for sure,

But I have found a will work way

To paint this self portrait of mine.

Project's going well I must say,

And truly makes this monkey shine.

With a magnifying glass I'll

Sure paint my "Mona Lisa" smile.
