Sense Sonnet - Chiller

 Scares the Crows

A murder of crows flies above

A patch of pumpkins down below.

The crows do caw a mocking of

The appearance of a scarecrow,

Who in the moonlight looms to scare

The crows into flying away.

But fat and juicy pumpkins there

Incentivize the crows to stay.

But then the crows do notice that

There's something dif'rent 'bout this scene

Of just a pumpkin habitat.

Jeepers, creepers, it's Halloween.

And for the crows a scary sight,

Pumpkins grin and glow in the night.
