 Passing By

Sunflowers sun all knowing that

Their summertime is passing fast.

When fall comes to their habitat,

They too will fall and will not last.

And so they make the most of each

Sunny summer day shining on

Their happy faces stretched to reach

Sunlight they love before they're gone.

And on each day the sun does track

Its journey made across the sky.

The sunflowers all do wave back

To thank the sun for passing by.

Sunflowers watch each setting sun

And wonder is this their last one?
