 The Seabirds

There lives off Florida's coastline

Masses of algae called red tide.

The seabirds like them as food fine.

Suddenly, reports that statewide,

People are being attacked by

The seabirds in horrific way,

Causing some folks to even die.

Humans have become seabird prey.

Scientists tested the algae,

And found that it had changed into

A new strain of toxicity,

Making the seabirds go cuckoo.

The state of Florida's on alert.

Seabirds are of the mind to hurt.
