 Lions Smashing Pumpkins - LP Zoo

Tiz a smashing pumpkin to do.

All the lions join in the fun,

Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.

So lots of smashing does get done.

The keepers set the pumpkins out,

Scattered throughout the habitat,

As a means to bring forth, no doubt,

Curiosity in each cat.

Right away the lions are game.

From pumpkin to pumpkin they dash

With their claws and teeth taking aim.

Indeed the pumpkins are a smash.

Pumpkins are not what lions eat,

But still can serve as a fun treat.
