Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Summer Lights
As the calm summer day turns night,
I sit out on the porch to see
The increasings of flashing light.
The fireflies come to visit me.
At first there are but just a few,
But as the evening tide flows on,
More and more glows come into view,
An entrancing phenomenon.
It is a wonder to behold.
The fireflies dancing to and fro,
Each performer a spark of gold,
And all in all an awesome show.
All summer long the fireflies will
Be a pleasure I can refill.
