I am Lucia, spoonbill chick,

And look forward to seeing you.

I am growing up very quick

Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.

Hopefully soon where I am at

In house at African Journey

Again will be a habitat

Reopened to the public be,

As the threat of Covid 19

Is less and less for humankind,

With more and more of the vaccine

Bringing hope to body and mind.

I look forward to time and place

When we can first come face to face.
