Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Snout About - LP Zoo

Red river hogs, Lily and Knox,
Are in their yard snouting about,
Helping opportunity knocks,
Digging the ground to sniff stuff out.
Roots and tubers they like to eat,
And also bugs found in the ground,
Using their snouts and tusks and feet
To dig in the dirt all around.
While they're digging they're bothered by
Bugs that are flying in the air.
Tails and ears the hogs do apply
To swish at the bugs that fly there.

Lily and Knox, a busy two,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
