Storks go Fishing - LP Zoo

The European white storks do

Some fishing in their wading pool

Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.

Their long beaks are a useful tool.

Cheyanne and Jethro - quite a pair,

As they both go wading about

Grabbing up all the live fish there.

They've quite a knack for catching trout.

Soon all the fish do disappear,

Swallowed whole as the storks delight

In getting to go fishing here,

With wings a flapping - quite a sight.
