We lesser hedgehog tenrecs do
Be hard to see in the dark time
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Rarely we might be seen to climb
On the branches of a tree that
We're looking for something to eat.
But likely in the habitat
We're hidden snuggled in retreat.
From Madagascar we do hale
And nocturnal be our kind.
You may look hard but you may fail,
Cuz in the dark we're hard to find.
