A Taveta golden weaver,
I do sing a song, yes I do.
I am a singing believer
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
The song that I do like to sing
Sounds like "cree-er-curee-twee-twee,"
Sung in a low pitched twittering,
A simple song my song does be.
Over and over I repeat
My song for each and all to hear.
My song does sound a welcome greet
To each and all who do come near.
