Sense Sonnet - Chiller

Duelly Noted

Alexander Hamilton and
Aaron Burr were fierce enemies.
Against the other each did stand,
Mutual hate in high degrees.
At first words were the only fight,
And neither would apologize.
What to do over such a slight -
A duel with honor as the prize.
Hamilton shot and hit a tree,
And Burr shot and hit Hamilton.
Hamilton died from injury,
And Burr declared the winning one.

Last fight 'tween Hamilton and Burr.
The loser really lost for sure.
