Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Favorite Cute Ugly

I see him sunning on the beach,
A mass of flesh, wrinkly and pink.
The sight would make some children screech.
He turns to me and gives a wink.
Not a good looking specimen,
The years have not aged him too well,
A blob of fat and hairless skin,
Not giving off a pleasant smell.
But he is easy to adore,
As many ugly creatures are,
Looking like waste washed up on shore,
Puffing away on his cigar.

An ugly-cute animal be
My favorite Uncle Henry.
