Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Feral Cat

A feral cat, humans call me.
I look quite tame but am quite wild.
Anti human, I choose to be.
A free spirit, I am life styled.
I am a predator of skill.
Small mammals, fish and birds beware.
They just exist for me to kill,
And quickly eat - I like meat rare.
My kind and humans do strike deals.
In ships and barns we often do
A trade of rodents less - more meals,
A feral trade for us - thank you.

I may be in your city soon.
Rats are beginning to balloon.
