I've always got an ear out to
Hear what is being said around
My home at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Gossip about me does abound.
This fennec fox, without a doubt,
Hears ev'rything both far and near.
Nothing goes in one ear and out.
I keep whatever I hear here.
I like being in open air.
There be for me no sound soundproof.
From ev'ry side be here or there,
From underground or on the roof.

I hear you talking about me.
My ears are burning as can be.
