Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Rum Ride

April eighteen, seventy five,
Paul Revere made his famous ride.
The revolution came alive,
Paul being on the rebel side.
His ride took him through Medford town,
Known for distilling of fine rum.
Time to toss a slug or two down!
Gets thirsty riding for freedom!
The famous ride did stay on track.
Paul needed his head to be clear.
Maybe he'd stop on his way back,
Becuz good rum Paul did revere.

If Paul had gotten rum tipsy,
Then the U.S.A. might not be.
