Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Tiger Chow - LP Zoo

A tiger living in the wild
Has got to work a lot to eat.
No supermarkets nicely aisled
To look for special sales on meat.
But here at the Lincoln Park Zoo,
The keepers keep the meat until
I am safely out of their view,
Then hurry in a healthy fill,
And serve it up on hanging stuff,
So that when I do come on back,
Mealtime is anything but tough.
Paws grip, teeth grind and lips do smack.

The Zoo does wonders just to please,
Cuz there is meat growing on trees!
