Another voting season is done.
We the People lied to by PACs,
Send to D.C. by election,
If not by now, soon to be hacks.
Repubbies red and Demmies blue.
The red is gonna run the hill,
Giving the bluer Prez some new
Hot heartburn. All a bitter pill
For We the People to swallow,
Having to hear the party line,
While D.C. the more to wallow,
All a waste where the sun don't shine.
