Is called a new name - Common Core,
Full of confusing teach hybrids,
S'posed to improve overall score.
Many teachers and parents gripe
That the new stuff is a crap mix
Of flawed theoretical hype
From iv'ry towered politics.
Of course it's math - dollars and cents.
Just read that writing on the wall.
The kids are of no consequence.
It's give the shaft called Core to all.

Reading, writing, 'rithmetric come
To  Common Core that equals dumb.
