Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Baby Gibbon - LP Zoo

I am a baby gibbon be.
Am I a girl? Am I a boy?
That news is not yet out on me.
I am a Lincoln Park Zoo joy.
For now I'm creme with Mom to match.
Then I'll turn black and white like Dad.
I'll end up with the color batch
Of whatever sex I am clad.
Mom is doing maternal care.
Both of us listen to Dad sing.
Family moments we all share.
Mom does the work and Dad does swing.

Come visit me when at the Zoo.
Watch out Dad doesn't pee on you.
