Sense Sonnet - Steamer

No Adults

Little leaguers come to play ball,
Kids just wanting to have some fun.
Adults - why let them in at all?
Judging kid players one by one.
For each moment of kid glory,
More kids miss the ball or strike out.
Up in the stands, the adults be,
Forgetting what the game's about.
Adult rage rages more and more,
Messing with kids trying to play.
Adults think that the kids are for
Getting back dreams that got away.

While the kids are playing the game,
Adults are judging - praise and blame.
