Ben Bernanke, the money man,
Powerful chairman of the Fed,
Trillions within his fingers' span.
So how does he butter his bread?
Of course he's got some treasuries,
Some blips of slips of I.O.U.
That ol' Uncle Sam guarantees
Is good as gold - but is this true?
Cuz Uncle Sam does like to spend,
And has to borrow to do that.
