Let's DeCongress

Congress - a bunch of folks in a room,
Talking up ideas a lot,
Producing good - one might assume.
Bundles of debt - that's what we got.
Maybe Congress should never meet,
Or if they do, they never talk.
That way, perhaps the balance sheet
Can rest a bit from spending shock.
If ideas join to have sex,
So far Congress has exalted
In causing mainly birth defects,
As the country is assaulted.

As long as Congress does exist,
We've got a sex offender list.
