Gene Blame

I'm told I'm a schizophrenic,
Addictive personality.
I'm told a gene makes me so tick,
And makes me vote the way I be.
When I look at politicians,
And the weird ways that most behave,
This gene thing hits like bricks of tons.
We're governed from cradle to grave
By sick brains that we voted in,
Because a sick gene told us to.
No wonder the mess that has been.
Such genes command all that we do.

We've got sick government - that means
We the People have got sick genes.
