Do Not Mix

Catholic bishops seem to say
If abortion funding is nil
The health reform bill is okay.
Taxpayer dollars must not kill.
That would be an immoral thing,
As of course not a law should be.
Heaven help us should a law bring
Something passed politically.
The Catholic Church knows far more
Of twisting arms and bending rules.
The Church was around long before
The Congress of elected fools.

Morality and politics,
Like oil and water do not mix.
