Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Sharing

A socialist once came to see
The self made multi-millionaire.
He asked of Andrew Carnegie
To put his great wealth up for share.
The socialist preached how unjust
For one lone man to have so much.
Carnegie put, in some disgust,
His hand to arithmetic touch.
He divided his whole wealth range
By the world population list.
Handing to him some pocket change,
Carnegie told the socialist,

"Your share of mine, I'll recompense."
"You're entitled to 16 cents."
