The Big One

Cliff was an avid contest buff,
Sending thousands of entries in.
One would think that he'd had enough -
All those tries and never a win.
But Cliff knew that one day he'd hit
The jackpot, with a big, big bang.
So he kept on going for it.
Then one day the telephone rang.
Ed McMahon called to advise
That Cliff had won the sweepstakes pack,
A hundred million dollar prize.
Cliff dropped dead from a heart attack.

One thing though about poor, rich Cliff -
He ended up one lucky stiff.
